Torchwood rated 18th most watched show of the day with an overnight estimate of average network viewership of 987,000. However in the all imprtant 18-49 demographic Torchwood came second only and won its time. It cracked the one million viewer mark within its one hour and ten minute slot.
Network TEN have not made an official comment or committed to keeping Torchwood in this time slot, however they are unofficially very pleased and wil most likley keep it where it is if the ratings bonanza continues.
