The Wall of Lies one hundred!
05/05/2006 21:06 0ST

Posted by Martin

The Wall of Lies has reached its one hundredth issue!

Issue one hundred features news on the reception of the show in the US and the UK, and on the upcoming Australian broadcasts. The Archive features the club's premiere of the telemovie in 1996, and what fans really thought of the ABC's repeat of The Krotons in 1986. There is good news on recovery of club publications, and details of what is still being sought. We begin a new page four feature, Professor Who.

Probably with everyone else's ;) We've been waiting for something before doing another mail out, if it's not going to happen then either we can send it to you anyway or you can come to the meeting on the 20th. And the same goes for all the others! Posted by:Martin

Thanks Martin, Do you still mail out the Wall of Lies Regularly now? Or it is a carrot for meeting attendance? ;-) Just want to find out when the bloody ABC will start transmitting the new season :-) Posted by:sneb

No, we've never mailed out the Wall of Lies on its own unless we've got a magazine to send out as well, or at least not since I became secretary and the committee said "Don't!". And yes, the announcement on transmissions is what we're all waiting for. It's proably not coming for another month, se we can do a mail out withou fear of events overtaking this. Posted by:Martin

Sorry, clip, it's not going to happen--but we might get the story that it will premiere on a specific date... We've got priveliged information, for no better reasons than we asked, we're good with it and we're a real public incorporated club. We rock. Posted by:Martin
