A chameleon-like man, Michael Sheard was cast in many television productions, even playing diffrent characters in near-sequential episodes. Eventually he was typecast in vulnerable or authoritarian roles, playing Heinrich Himmler four times and Adolf Hitler five times! Sheard was cast in Doctor Who four times, as the odious Dr. Summers in The Mind of Evil, weak Laurence Scarman in The Pyramids of Mars and possesed by villains as Supervisor Lowe and the Headmaster in The Invisile Enemy and Remembrance of the Daleks, respectivly.
