MoviesLord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Academy cinemas in Hindmarsh Square. Friday 27/12/02 at 7.30pm. Prices are $8.50 for Adult, $6.40 for Concession. A booking has been made for 25 people, be there at the square. Star Trek X: Nemesis. This will be at a Greater Union Cinema. We have been told that the opening night big screening will be either at Arndale or Marion. Thursday 16/01/03 and prices may be $9.90 and $7.00 respectively. Times not available yet. Tentative hints will be that we may go with SASTREK to take advantage of their greater numbers for a bigger discount. Email: tamvogel@senet.com.au for further details.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
more from same (Movies)
MoviesThe next movie night is for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. This will be at the Academy Cinema in Hindmarsh Square. Days available are Thursday (opening night) 28 November, or Friday 29 November. If we get a group booking of more than 10 the prices will be $8.50 for Adults and $6.50 for Pensioner. My suggestion is Friday - so we can finish the week on a high and not have to worry about going to work on the next day. Please advise me if you will be attending and what night you would prefer (majority wins) by e-mailing tamvogel@senet.com.au or phoning 8264 3940 and leaving a message with my electronic secretary or my alzheimic mother. It would be a great help if you could have the money available by the SFSA meeting before the movie - that's Saturday 16 November, as I will probably have to pre-purchase the tickets and guarantee bums on seats or a seat for a bum. No idea what the times will be, probably somewhere around 7.30ish pm, I will get times when I know the voted day.

8 Legged Freaks
more from same (Movies)
MoviesA group of SFSA memebrs will be going to see Eight Legged Freaks this friday (5th October) for a screening at 7:00 pm. We will be meeting beforehand for food at San Georgio's, which is on the Corner of Frome Rd & Rundle St at 5:30. See you there.
** NOTE ** There seems to have been a significant amount of indifference to 8 legged freaks, so only a few of us will be going, and the cheap tickets we normally get won't be available due to lack of pre-booked numbers.
