February Regular Meeting
more from same (Meetings)
MeetingsDue to unforseen circumstances, the regularly scheduled meeting for February at Adelaide High School has been postponed due to construction work at the school venue. Don't dispair. We will instead be having a social meeting at Fleet Street Cafe (corner of Pultney St and Pirie St) in Hindmarsh Square. Regular meeting time is in effect (starting at 3pm) but will need to finish up around 7-8pm. Some members may be continuing with other activities (snooker hall, ten pin bowling, etc depending on preferences on the night)

New Who-spinoff comic - Miranda - out January!
more from same (Science Fiction)
Science FictionFrom the authorial pen of acclaimed Who-novelist and author Lance Parkin, and from the artistic pen of 2000AD and numerous other project, artist Allan Bednar comes "MIRANDA" a new 6-part comic from new UK publishing house "Comeuppance Comics". Out in January, with the cover art online at "http://www.comeuppancecomics.co.uk" (pretty impressive, have a look!) "MIRANDA" features the Doctor's "daughter" from Parkin's BBC EDA novel "FATHER TIME". MIRANDA is from a bloodline of Empire and Universe Spanning rulers, and has been hunted down by her own people, the KLADE. Complimenting the forthcoming FACTION PARADOX comics and novel series from "Mad Norwegian Press", and audio series from BBV, it would appear that with the reduction of BBC official novels and product, the "unofficial/tie-in/spin-off etc" ranges are flourishing! Availablility and cost in Australia are tba.
