New BBC Doctor Who TV series set for 2004-05!
more from same (Science Fiction)
Science Fiction
Doctor Who will be back, not just as an animated webcast,
but as a TV series!

Yes! It's official! And so it begins... again! Breaking news today, originally from London's Daily Telegraph, and now from the BBC themsleves.. To be written by Russell T. Davies - (creator and writer of Queer as Folk and author of Virgin's Doctor Who New Adventure Bad Therapy novel), the sereis, most probably in a limited 6x 50 minute episode season, should make a return early in 2005. We will have more details as they come. As for casting, it is too early in the process apparently to release these details, but it would seem silly to cast anyone other than Richard E. Grant, who is BBCi's Ninth Doctor in thier November animated webcast Scream of the Shalka!
