Subject: 'Alien' series

I have watched all 4 of the 'Alien' movies more times than I dare to think of. Actually, it got addictive at one stage. I know that I've watched "Aliens" more than 200 times! Yikes!!!!!
Seriously, I thought they were a fantastic series that played on the subconscience. It was H.R. Giger's (mad Swiss artist) nightmare that hed had had since he was 15 made real for the movies.
And the creature can be likened to a phalis. An insect. A being that invades your body. 'The perfect lifeform'. Etc.
Now, what I don't get is, I've been watching these films as they had been made since I was about 8 years old - and they never bothered me (no nightmares).
Now, they give me the creeps, and I want to get rid of the collection. I don't think I could ever stomach seeing any of them again.
It's not due to boredom or over exposure.
And how can it frighten me - surely it would have done that 20 or more years ago?????
I can't understand this! |

The Alien series is great, although No. 3 was a mess.
4 was ok, but not as good as the first 2.
Alien v Predator wasnt too bad either - although I know some people hate that one.
The first film was very scary, with the 2nd being an all out action romp.
Even today, the first one is still pretty scary, so you're not alone in that one Jimmy! |

The best thing I heard about Alien is that the stuff that they drip all over the place to make it all gooey is in fact the same stuff they put in McDonald's thickshakes to make them thick! |

Wouldn't surprise me Deadly. I always thought that Ronald McDonald looked like the Alien.....!!
Would be great if James Cameron or Ridley Scott did Alien 5 - as they were rumoured to be doing, before Alien v Predator came along. |

Whoops!!! I sent the last message unintentionally!!!!! Yeah, Deadly Assassin, I heard about that, too........and a friend of mine back in 1992 did a demonstration when we were having lunch at Mc Donalds after seeing "Alien 3" Seriously, those fims give me the creeps - but like I said before, they never did 20 years ago. Can't understand why! 'Deadly Assassin'? I'm writing to a 'Deadly Assassin'? That's spooky! |

Who actually won out of Alien or Preditor? and when are we going to give them, real names?
I think insead of just versus we should have a Battle Royal, with all the film aliens.
Who would win I think ALF. |
