Just say faster pussycat, kill kill. Is there any other of his movies that are as interesting. I wonder if he was an insperation to John Waters. ![](var/smileys/w00t.gif) |

Faster Pussycat was one of Russ Meyer's classic films. I think he was an influence on Waters, although he was a vastly different filmmaker.
I'd guess he was an early soft core porn filmmaker, but he laced his 'naughty stuff' with a lot of social commentary, a lot of his later stuff were like sexy satires.
Vixen, Supervixens and Up were groundbreaking films in their day, as they depicted sex in a fun way that mainstream audiences hadn't seen before.
He did find true commercial success with Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, made in 1968, which was a huge hit for its time. Sadly the follow up flopped, and so he went back to the independent sector.
He died last year quite a wealthy man, and you can see quite a lot of his work influencing a few films today.
His films are quite funny to watch today, but still entertaining. |

For a second there I thought you meant the Oscar Meyer Weiner Car--which as it turns out isn't inconsistent. |
