so... next year is the 50th  anniversary  - what's happeningn around the place??? I have several friends and we are thinking of havinga  bit of a party or similar. food and drink ideas are already being thought of (several cocktails on the old screwdriver twist ) as well as dalek cakes etc.
would it be worth having something a bit bigger?central? any one want to merge???

I have a vague idea for a chocolate 3D dalek cake but no promises it could exterminate itself and end up just a pile of chocolate LOL

I did  contact the ABC to ask if they were doing anything and got a resounding no, no plans for anything at this point.  damn

spoke again with ABC and they say it's the BBC that wont let them do a great deal etc etc. quite possible but  a pity nonetheless.  I haven't heard much from anyone else in the northern burbs doign anything. I am planning on an October Dr Who themed birthday party for myself - would love to hear from anyone else who is organising stuff for next years 50th 

We now have booked the Box Factory for the 23rd November, other clubs will be doing events too, details to come!
