The strangest Doctor Who guest appearance so far. On 27 June 2010 Matt Smith appeared for Orbital's final song on Glastonbury Music Festival's last evening, the day after The Bing Bang aired in the UK. He declared the occasion to be "timey wimey", then appeared to join in for their rendition of the Doctor Who theme while wearing a pair of glasses with torches mounted on the arms.

I knew none of this but caught it on the ABC2 broadcast tonight.
