I see the papers are giving her a glowing send-off.

The whole thing reminds me of that infamous song on the Chaser about worshipping dead people and re-writing their history so they turn out to be 'top blokes/ladies'.

I get a bit tired of the current media way of saying 'everyone must grieve for this celebrity because they were famous' - such as what they did for Steve Irwin and Peter Brock.

Not everyone has to suddenly like an individual now they're dead.

It seems the newspapers, etc love to write fiction especially when it comes to someone's passing........

I was particularly nauseated when Don Dunstan passed away. People who hated him suddenly eulogised the guy. National Action stuck posters up blaming him for all of Australia's social ills, never let it be said they act politicly!

However I think he'd have seen the funny side of it.
