Today marks both John Lennon's 70th birthday and the 45th anniversary of Mission to the Unknown's single broadcast. Did the self professed television addict watch it? Probably not; all four Beatles went to a party celebrating the pre-opening of Lionel Bart's Twang!, then to a private party for Lennon's 25th.
