For viewers in Adelaide, there were a couple of drop outs in the Saturday 21 May broadcast of Doctor Who: The Doctor's Wife.
The first lasted about ten seconds when The House mused it could kill them by switching off the gravity.
The second was about five seconds following the death of Idris.
At home this was encountered on SD digital (the first one) and then HD (the second drop out). At the meeting we were watching the show on video projector via the analog signal, and it appears to have been consistent across all three signals.
When the first drop out occurred, Melanie cried out "If you believe in Doctor Who then clap!" We did and the signal picked up again.

yep that happened to me as well - wasn't sure if it was my analogue TV or what - very annoying.
Was a good episode though. I mostly like this new season so far.
But what I cannot stand is the intro at the beginning of the title sequence. Who had the bright idea of having Amy deliver a short monologue of the show before the titles start? I assume this was tacked on to please the American market? Really puts me off - and I dislike having the BBC logo attached to the title card as well - fans would know the BBC make it by now surely??

These are the exact same things we get people saying when we watch it with an audience in front of a big screen ... why the recap ... we can remember what happened last week ...is this for the Americans ... not the logo, however. I see that as a good sign; they're adjusting to heavy branding as a response to enhanced availability; no more complaints of it being online!
