I am hoping the Clara character improves. After a promising start her character De-generated into a whining companion. That is how I see it. How ever Peter Capaldi would improve as time goes on if he would lose Clara.

I am particularly looking forward to The Girl Who Died as it's co-written by Jamie Mathieson and Steven Moffat. Mathieson's Mummy on the Orient Express and Flatline were highlights of series eight for me.
