I think every dotor brought something different to the role but weather it worked or not is just in the view of the beholder. |

I agree that every doctor brought something different to the role. Some things really did work well and others really did not.
I have been a doctor who fan for quite a while and I am sure my favourite doctor has changed over time as well.
When I was young I would have definately said Tom Baker. He was lots of fun and very memorable with his curly hair, long scarf and pocket full of jelly babies.
Now that I have been watching the doctor series again, right from the begining I am seeing new things in each of the doctors. One of the things that I particularly like is the way that they interact with their companions.
Perhaps another good question is "Who is your favourite companion?". "I have killed thousands. I have killed proud young warriors and wise old rulers. I have killed mothers with babes in their arms. I have killed the just, the wicked, and the beautiful. I have done this for two thousand years in the service of His Divine Shadow and apparently the fun never stops!" -Kai |

I am the other way. Jon Pertwee from the earlier format and David tennant from the new.
I started with the very last few of Patrick Trougten, but started with Christopher Eccelston in the new.
My least favourite is peter Davison.
