Hey!
Just keeping with the title of this forum, I watched "Day of the Daleks" the other day (just to remind myself how bad it was )
and noticed a funny blooper:
You see Nicholas Courtney (the Brigadier) running with The Doctor and other UNIT troops in Part One when they discover a wounded guerilla - and, well, the Brig didn'r 'run' - he stumbled all over the place. It looked like he was very drunk (nearly fell over Jon Pertwee!!!!!!!) |

I never thought much of Destiny or Douglas Adams as a script editor until I read Andrew Pixley's Archive in DWM. Terry Nation was going to invent yet another fictional element to explain why the Daleks came back for Davros. Adams changed it so what they were after in Davros' chair was Davros himself, with the very Adamsian touch of the two space fleets locked in strategic limbo.
Both have gone up in my estimation. |

On that point, I thought that Revelation of the Daleks was one of the few highpoints of the Colin Baker era.
A very witty Robert Holmes script, with some very dark themes and good acting all around. |

No! Don't do that to yourself!
You're not that bad!
Hey!
I've got another blooper - Tegan in "Logopolis". Part 3 or 4 - she's going about in the TARDIS and thinks that the console has a microphone - says her line twice. The first time she says: "My name is Teg.....Jov", then she says "My name is Tegan Jovanka........"
(The slip up is VERY noticable!)
........and with such a great stroy as "Logopolis", you'd think they'd try to polish Tom Baker's swansong with some good editing. |

Logopolis was a very fine swansong for the Baker era, although I think it was hampered somewhat by the over production of my old friend JNT.
But at least it had some substance to it, which is more that can be said for most of the JNT stories that came afterwards. |

Shrinking people! There's Dr Cyclops, a colour film from 1940. Attack of the Puppet People, a Roger Corman nasty from 1958.
And my favourite, Dr Shrinker from The Krofft Super Show. |
