On the same tangent as sequels, How many long running spin off Movies (Good or Bad) can you tell me the best ones? or the Worst?
Of course on the good side there is Buffy and M.A.S.H.
or on the other hand TV Shows they have made into Movies |

TV to movies - Star Trek yay.... great flicks, well most of them. The Hulk, well, that's two hours of my life I'm not getting back.
Movies to TV - try Clueless (the name says it all), Sabrina (hmmmmm), Charmed (no I don't think so) and yes that did come from a movie, it was called 'The Witches of Eastwick'.
Spin offs - ST: The Next Generation (so so).
Spin offs from spin offs - Angel (so so), MASH hospital (YUCK), Deep Space Nine (a pretty good show really).
Spin off from spin offs from spin offs: Voyager (save me!), The Watchers (doubt it will be made).
Spin off from spin off from spin off from spin off - Enterprise (not bad, give it a go) |

I don't get the charmed or sabrina spin offs. unless you mean the craft and the two telly movies of sabrina. |

The witches of Eastwick had a blond, brunette and red head witch cavorting around doing stuff = Charmed.
Sabrina actually had a movie, it lasted about 2 weeks in the cinema and then disappeared, going straight to video, then came the tv series. |

Hows this for an Idea, we get a popular cult classic (with two really bad sequals,) then creat a spin off TV series and a cartoon series. But wait theres more then well do a forth movies with both the M Films and Television series heros. how does that sound, oops they have already done that. Highlander. |
