So far this movie is running neck to neck with Hot Fuzz as the movie of the year.
If you have seen the car ad showing the car transforming and skating. Well that looks like kindergarten stuff compared to the transforming action in this movie.
Some very funny scenes, some great action. This makes a great film.
Sure there is not much of a plot, but enough of a plot to tie in action and charaters.

"Transfromers" made my night - took me from a terribly bad mood to feeling better about life in general.

Fantastic effects, some hilarious scenes, and phenomenal action.

Ok, forget the plot - but so what! It was bloody good fun!!!!!
(and who worried about storylines when they were playing with their Transformer toys!!!! )

The onyl thing missing was a few actors

Leonard Nimoy, Eric Idle and Orson Welles, and also the soundtrack by Weird Al Yankovic ...

Zaphod you are living in the past. Atlast Michael Bay has earned his money for an action Blockbuster.

I didn't say the movie was bad, I just would have liked some cameos from the voice actors in the original movie
