I was watching the Documentary. '30 Years of Time Travel and Beyond' produced by BBV (independent production) NOT 'More than 30 Years in the Tardis' released by BBC Enterprises.

I hadn't watched it for about 10 years, and some of the stories were quite interesting. I have a new found appreciation for Sylvester McCoy as a result of watching it. He surely is a brilliant actor (refer to the discussion about an actor being no good if he is only acting himself) his speech, manner, everything about him seems quite different to the way he played Doctor Who. Whilst I was not fond of his Doctor, I acknowledge his ability to characterise through his acting

Though I maybe wrong, I only base my view on this Doco..... how about those who went to 'Inside the TARDIS' what was your impression of the Man vs the Doctor (or actor)???

McCoy's got a great sense of humour and a political conscience. At 'Inside The TARDIS' he made comments about the futility of the war with Iraq and the clumsy way that Geroge W. is trying to win his war on terror.

McCoy is a genuinely funny person, has a quick wit and I think should have gained a lot more status as a comedian.

His interpretation of The Doctor was good - it was just Cartmel and Nathan - Bloody - Turner that stuffed it up. I bet that Mc Coy would have had a fantastic legacy of stories if he was working with the maestros of Doctor Who (that is, Philip Hinchcliffe and Robert Holmes).

"More Than 30 Years In The TARDIS" always makes me sentimental ..........every time I watch it it reminds me of when I was at Primary School and watching Dr Who for the first time.
